A sportsman since the age of four, Ricky is no stranger to the benefits of physiotherapy. Fearing that he would be prescribed rest as a result of an injury in his teens, he was delighted to discover that physiotherapy provided a better solution for effective healing. His personal experiences led Ricky to train as a physiotherapist, qualifying at Curtin University in 2014.
Ricky has a particular passion for prevention and rehabilitation, areas he draws on in his role as the physiotherapist of the Stirling Lions Soccer Club. In addition to sports rehabilitation, Ricky is interested in falls prevention, occupational health and safety, low back and neck pain as well as the impact of ergonomics in the work place.
